SYDNEY and MELBOURNE — 2 May 2018 — Ping Identity, the leader in Identity Defined Security, has announced its annual Australian IDENTIFY conferences next month in Sydney and Melbourne. The event helps security professionals, IT architects and business leaders solve the toughest identity and security challenges facing their organisations today. Attendees will gain hands-on experience in a series of digital identity product solution workshops to learn how to make the most of their investments in Ping Identity solutions.
IDENTIFY is being held on the following dates:
The Establishment Ballroom, 252 George Street, Sydney
The Trust, 405 Flinders Lane, Melbourne
Keynote speakers include Chris Michael, head of technology at Open Banking in the UK, who will present the session titled “Lessons from Open Banking in the UK.” He’ll discuss what the industry has learned from Open Banking in the UK and offer valuable insights for Australian businesses. Michael will explore how Open Banking creates huge potential to deliver significant value to retail banking customers, by enabling secure/reliable access to third-party apps (e.g. accounting and budgeting tools) and offering payments direct from any bank account.
In the presentation “How Business is Changing with Identity at its Core,” Sarah Squire, senior technical architect at Ping Identity, will share how leaders across the industry strive to balance user experience, security and trust. New regulations require open access to data, but only with strict privacy and consent driven by modern identity. She will discuss how business is changing with identity at its core, and share new trends in identity that make IAM more relevant than ever.
Also on the roster of speakers is Thor Essman, CEO and founder of Versent, a Ping Identity solution partner in Australia. He will explore how identity is now core to every digital experience and why a new wave of digital programs are kicking off with identity at the centre of the experience discussion.
“We’re excited to bring IDENTIFY to Australia again this year,” commented Brian Bell, chief marketing officer, Ping Identity. “Attendees will have an opportunity to hear how leading enterprises use the Ping Identity platform to modernise their identity access management solutions, deliver identity-centric customer engagement and enhance security and agility.
